HLB Mont Audit Ltd., in collaboration with the Montenegrin Educational Center  and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro , is organizing an education cycle for obtaining the professional qualification of “Certified Internal Auditor.” We organize specialized certification for practitioners in internal audit, external audit, IT sector, regardless of whether they come from the civil or public sector.

 

The price for participating in the training is 1,250 € and includes practical training, materials for preparation and taking the theoretical and practical parts of the exam for obtaining this certificate, as well as an annual PREMIUM membership fee, which grants the IIRCG member unlimited free access to video materials from all past and future events organized by IIRCG.

To obtain the certificate of acquiring the professional qualification “Certified Internal Auditor,” you need to fulfill the following requirements:

Education:

Higher education (individual with at least higher education qualification, seventh level (VII), totaling 240 ECTS credits)

The subjects that the candidate takes:

  1. Role and activities of internal audit in management, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  2. Conducting internal audits.
  3. Information Technology audit.

 

Work experience (it is sufficient for the candidate to meet one of the following conditions regarding work experience):

  • Three years of work experience in auditing, internal auditing, accounting, finance, risk management, control, planning, and analysis.

  • If any interested member of IIRCG does not meet the criteria regarding work experience, they can attend lectures and take the exams provided in the program. However, the certificate for the professional title “Certified Internal Auditor” will not be awarded until proof of three years of work experience in the aforementioned positions is provided. This is further explained in the “Guidelines for Recognizing Certificates (specific exams) obtained from other authorized professional associations and institutions in Montenegro,” which can be found by clicking here. Practical training:

The candidate is required to watch the ONLINE recording of the lecture on the protected section of the IIRCG website www.dls-cg.com. To access the lectures (video material), you need to contact the IIRCG Administration to be assigned a username and password for unlimited access to the training. Testing:

The candidate is required to take an ONLINE test (based on the previously conducted training and provided literature), with the condition of achieving a minimum of 60% score on the test.

 

Preparation of an access paper and defense before the Commission:

The candidate is required to complete an Access Paper on the topic of Internal Audit based on predefined simulated situations related to the operations of a company in accordance with the requirements of the CEC/IIRCG Administration and instructors. The Access Paper must be defended before the Commission.

Submitting a request for the issuance of the certificate.

The candidate is required to, after fulfilling the specified conditions, fill out the “Request for issuance of the specialist certificate for obtaining the IIRCG title Certified Internal Auditor,” which is submitted to the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro, and submit it along with the accompanying documentation to the administration.

Was elected by the Parliament of Montenegro in December 2006. Previously, he served as the Head of Development Program in the Secretariat for Development, Head of the Legal Regulatory Sector at the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of Cabinet to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Studies (MBS) and the Law Faculty of the University of the Mediterranean, teaching courses in “Control and Audit” and “Finance and Financial Law.” He has been appointed as an authorized examiner of the State Audit Institution to obtain a license as a state auditor in the field of “Public Sector Audit.”

Prof. dr Slavko Rakocevic, CRMA

Prof. dr Rakocevic holds a Doctorate in Economics with a specialization in auditing. He is the President of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro and the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Appraisers of Montenegro. He has been a long-time member of the Global IIA Working Group for the establishment of national IIA Institutes worldwide and a previous member of the Audit Committee of the European Confederation of Institute of Internal Auditors (ECIIA) in Brussels. Additionally, he has extensive experience as the Head of Compliance Monitoring Department at Hipotekarna Bank AD Podgorica and as the Head of Internal Audit at Wiener Städtische Insurance Montenegro.

Prof. dr. Rakocevic holds the Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) designation, is a certified external assessor of internal audit, and is licensed as an auditor by the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro. He also holds the State Auditor license issued by the State Audit Institution of Montenegro and is an authorized internal auditor. Furthermore, he is a Certified Accountant accredited by the Institute of Certified Accountants of Montenegro (a member of IFAC) and an accredited appraiser recognized by the Association of Appraisers of Montenegro, Serbia, and the Chamber of Appraisers of Montenegro.

Prof dr Ramo Sendelj

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in Information Systems and previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Mediterranean in Podgorica. Until 2005, he held the position of Chief of the Computing Center of the Naval Forces of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro.

He is a member of the “Education Committee” of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, a member of the expert program committee of the “INFOFEST” Information Technology Festival in Montenegro, and a member of the expert program of the scientific symposium “Information Technology”. Additionally, he is a member of the Steering Group of the “EURAXESS MONTENEGRO” project and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro.

He is the author of several monographs, scientific papers, and professional works both domestically and internationally. He has lectured at numerous conferences, symposiums, seminars, and workshops.

Dr. Jozefina Beke-Trivunac is the president of the Institute of Internal Auditors Serbia (IIA Serbia). She is an internationally certified internal auditor (CIA) and a certified auditor with the Chamber of Certified Auditors of Serbia. Additionally, she is a regular professor at ALFA University in Belgrade, Serbia. She has built her professional career in both state and international auditing organizations.

She is a member of the Audit Committee of the Institute IMS in Belgrade and has been a member of the Examination, Training, and Continuous Professional Development Commission of the Chamber of Certified Auditors of Serbia since 2006. She is also a member of the education committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro.

Olivera Radovic

Olivera Radovic currently serves as the Head of the Internal Audit Department at Elektromreza Srbije, a public company in Serbia. Prior to this role, she worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia in the Budget Inspection and Audit Sector, Internal Audit Department, as an advisor until 2008.

She holds the professional designation of “Certified Internal Auditor in the Public Sector” and Certified Accountant awarded by the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Yugoslavia. Additionally, she holds a Certificate for External Assessment of Internal Audit Quality issued by IIA Montenegro. She is a member of the Examination Commission for obtaining the Certified Internal Auditor designation in the public sector.

Olivera Radović is also certified as a procurement officer and is an internal verifier of international standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007. Furthermore, she serves as an expert witness in economic and financial matters and has been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Serbia (a full member of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors) since its establishment.
