HLB Mont Audit, in collaboration with the Montenegrin Educational Center  and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro from Podgorica, is organizing an expert training program for obtaining the professional title of Certified Risk Management Manager.

The price for participation in the training/certification cycle is €750.00 for IIRCG members and €800.00 for others. The participation fee includes practical training, materials for preparation, and taking the theoretical and practical parts of the certification test.

We organize specialized training for practitioners in internal auditing, external auditing, finance, risk management, control, planning, and analysis, regardless of whether they come from the public or private sector.

The prerequisites for attending the certification cycle are:

Education:

Higher education (minimum of three years of completed higher education)

Work experience

At least three years of work experience in accounting, finance, risk management, control, planning and analysis, auditing, or internal auditing.

If a candidate does not meet the work experience criterion, they can attend lectures and take exams, but the certificate for the professional title of Certified Risk Management Manager will not be awarded until evidence of three years of relevant work experience is provided. Practical training

The candidate is required to attend an educational program consisting of presentations and lectures. The lectures cover the following areas:

  1. The role of risk management function in the organizational structure of the company (30% of the exam)
  2. Basic principles of risk management (40% of the exam)
  3. Assessment of the quality of risk management systems (30% of the exam)

  2. Risk management to achieve the strategic objectives of the organization

      • Capacity, readiness, and tolerance of the organization to take risks
  3. Elements of the internal environment that influence the risk management process
      • Integrity, ethical values, and other “soft” controls
      • Authority and responsibility for risk management
      • Leadership and management style
      • Organizational form and structure
      • Decision-making process Internal capacities and resources
      • Needs and expectations of key stakeholders Internal policies
  4. Elements of the external environment that influence the risk management process
      • Major external factors influencing the organization’s objectives
      • Needs and expectations of major external factors

The topics covered on the fsecond day

  1. Basic principles of risk management:
      • Setting objectives at all levels to achieve strategic plans
      • Risk identification
      • Risk analysis and assessment
      • Response to risks
      • Development and implementation of risk mitigation plans
      • Monitoring risks and mitigation plans
      • Periodic review of the risk management process for continuous improvement
  2. Quality assessment of the risk management system
      • Analysis of the management system for key risks
      • Analysis of the reporting system for key risks
      • Quality control of the organization’s risk assessment methods
      • Quality control of the risk management process within the organization

Testing

The candidate is required to take a test after attending the lectures. The test is taken ONLINE. A passing grade is achieved with 60% accuracy of answers. Successfully completing the test is a requirement for participating in the defense of the case study report on risk management.

 

Preparation and defense of the Entry Report before the Commission

After attending the lectures and successfully passing the test on risk management, the candidate is required to prepare an entry report – Risk Report based on pre-defined simulated situations related to the operations of a company, in accordance with the requirements of the lecturer.

 

Submission of the request for certificate issuance

The candidate is required to, upon completion of all lectures, successfully pass the online test and defend the Accession Paper in front of the Commission, fill out the “Request for issuance of the specialist certificate for obtaining the title of Certified Risk Management Manager,” which is submitted to the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro, and submit it along with the accompanying documentation to the administration.
