HLB Mont Audit Ltd, in collaboration with the Montenegrin Educational Center and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro , is organizing training for the title of “Certified Accountant”.

By the decision of the Ministry of Education of Montenegro, UPI number 1050303-605/20-2743 dated October 30, 2020, the Montenegrin Educational Center, of which HLB Mont Audit Ltd Podgorica is one of the founders, was issued a License for conducting educational programs.

To obtain the certification for acquiring the professional qualification of “Certified Accountant,” you need to fulfill the following requirements:

Basic educational requirement:

  • Completed higher education (level VII – 240 ECTS credits) and a minimum of three years of practical experience in accounting and financial reporting;
  • Or completed a three-year college program (level VI – 180 ECTS credits) and a minimum of four years of practical experience in accounting and financial reporting;
  • Or completed a two-year college program (level V – 120 ECTS credits) and a minimum of five years of practical experience in accounting and financial reporting;
  • Or completed a four-year secondary school program (level IV1 – 240 ECTS credits) with the professional qualification “independent accountant” and a minimum of three years of practical experience in that profession.

Subjects attended by the participant

  1. Preparation and presentation of financial statements
  2. Financial information for management
  3. Human resources management
  4. Information systems
  5. Corporate and business law
  6. Tax system of Montenegro
  7. Financial management and control
  8. Financial reporting
  9. Audit and internal control

Testing:

The candidate is tested (in written and/or oral form) for each attended subject (based on previously conducted training and provided literature).

Submitting a Request for Certificate Issuance:

The candidate is required, upon fulfilling the specified conditions, to complete the Request for Issuance of Certificate for obtaining the professional qualification of “Certified Accountant,” which is submitted to the Montenegrin Educational Center and delivered with accompanying documentation to the administration.

The location and schedule of the classes will depend on the number of registered participants, and each registered candidate will be promptly informed by a representative of the training organizer.

The participation fee for the certification cycle is 600 € per candidate.
