HLB Mont Audit doo, in collaboration with the Montenegrin Educational Center  and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro  from Podgorica, is organizing expert training/certification to obtain the professional designation “Certified Internal Auditor – Information Systems Specialist.”

We organize specialist certification for practitioners from internal audit, external audit, the IT sector, regardless of whether they come from the civil or public sector.

The price for participating in the training is 1,000 €, which includes practical training, study materials for preparing and taking both the theoretical and practical parts of the certification exam.

To obtain the IIRCG specialist certificate with the title “Certified Internal Auditor – Specialist in Information Systems,” you need to fulfill the following requirements:

 

Education:

Higher education (minimum of three years completed at the university level)

 

Subjects attended by participants:

  • Audit of Information Systems

Work Experience (it is sufficient for the candidate to meet one of the following conditions regarding work experience)

Option 1: At least three years of work experience in external and/or internal audit of IS/IT;

or

Option 2: At least five years of work experience in information security management and/or IT roles;

or

Option 3: At least three years of work experience in external and/or internal audit.

Note regarding Option 3: Participants employed in the banking system of Montenegro should have 3 years of experience in internal audit in the financial sector, starting from the requirements of Article 74 of the Banking Law. For other interested candidates (who are not employed in Montenegrin banks), this restriction regarding work experience in the financial sector does not apply.

practical training

The candidate is required to watch the ONLINE lectures available on the protected section of the IIRCG website http://dls-cg.com/.

Testing:

The candidate is required to take an ONLINE test based on the previously conducted training and provided literature. The candidate must achieve a minimum score of 60% on the test.

Preparation of an access paper and defense before the Commission

The candidate is required to prepare an Access Paper in the field of Information System Audit based on predefined simulated situations related to the business operations of a company, following the requirements of the lecturers. Additionally, the candidate must defend the paper before the Commission.

Submitting a request for the issuance of the certificate.

The candidate is required to, upon fulfilling the specified conditions, complete the “Request for Issuance of the Certified Internal Auditor Specialist for Information Systems Certificate,” which is submitted to the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro, and submit it along with the accompanying documentation to the administration.

  • Propf. Adis Balota Ph. D is the Head of the Data Protection and Digital Transformation Department at Lovćen Bank AD Podgorica;
  • He has served as the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Mediterranean Podgorica for several years;
  • Previously, he was an Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Information Society and Telecommunications, responsible for the sector of information infrastructure. He has also held the position of Director of the Health Fund of Montenegro;
  • He lectures in the field of Information Technology on subjects such as Computer Systems Architecture, Information Systems Management, Information Systems Security and Protection, Computer Network Administration, and Computer Network Design and Development.

 

Prof. Igor Franc Ph. D
Beograd, Serbia

  • Prof. Igor Franc Ph. D previously served as the head of the Department for High-Tech Crime at the International Institute in Belgrade.
  • He founded the data security agency SECIT Security Consulting, where he currently works as the CEO, as well as the E-Security Association, where he is one of the founders and the president of the association.
  • With over 15 years of experience in information security and digital forensics, he earned his doctoral degree in this field.
  • He has over 12 years of experience as a lecturer and has been appointed as an associate professor in the field of computer science and informatics.

Luka Milinković
Beograd, Serbia

  • Luka works as an IT auditor at Komercijalna Banka in Belgrade, where he conducts audits of the information system, IT regulations, and procedures, as well as risk assessments of the bank’s IT systems. He performs information system audits at both the group and subsidiary levels, and actively participates in business process audits to verify established IT controls.
  • With over 10 years of experience in information security and education, he has also worked at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies. Luka has been involved in the development and implementation of security methods, network technologies, and encryption algorithms.
  • He is the author of numerous papers presented at domestic and international scientific conferences, as well as professional articles for the IT magazine PC Press.
  • Luka is a member of the international organization ISACA and holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor for ISO/IEC 27001 and as a lead risk manager for ISO 31000.
